English Carnival

The English Department of School of Scholars, Yavatmal celebrated English Carnival 2022-23 with great pomp and show. During this celebration various activities were planned and were successfully executed for all the students of class 1 to 10. The activities conducted during the Carnival were as follows: Grade one – Me and My Toy (In Charge – Ms. Pranali Borkar), Grade two – Show and Tell (In Charge – Ms. Jyotsna Nagdive), Grade three – Story Telling (In Chage – Ms. Shweta Yerkar), Grade four – One Act Play (In Charge – Ms. Shital Wavare), Grade five – Readers’ Theatre (In Charge – Ms. Sarita Upadhye), Grade six – Poster Making (Ms. Sonali Bhagwate), Grade seven – Memory Drawing (In Charge – Ms. Kajal Jadhav), Grade eight – Spell Bee (In Charge – Mr. Dhiraj Nimsatkar), Grade nine – Spin-a-Yarn (In Charge – Mr. Sujay Ikhar), Grade ten – Film Review (In Charge – Ms. Ashwini Sangitrao) The Carnival ended with a concluding ceremony where the students paid tribute to Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore through various performances like speeches, songs, dance and drama. The ceremony was led by Ms. Sonali Bhagwate under the guidance of Mrs. Mayuri Mehta and Mrs. Sarita Upadhye – the head of the department of English.
